The Directorate of the National Archive of Monuments of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture is organizing a three-day Conference on
“Digital Heritage in the new knowledge environment\: shared spaces &\; open paths to cultural content”.

It's divided in two parts\: a first day when you could choose to participate to one of the five full-day workshops kept by specialists\, the second and the third day instead you could hear lots of short lectures (about 20 minutes each) divided in sessions according to the related matter(like \\"Archaeology and Technology\\"\,\\"Cultural Heritage\\"\, etc. ).
It's the perfect occasion to see and sense how technologies and cultural heritage can work together to improve themselves.

END:VEVENT END:VCALENDARWith the organization of this conference we want to address the users as well as the developers of ImageJ.
During the event we want to offer workshops\, in which the users and developers will be able to improve their knowledge and usage of the software. These workshops will cover \\"beginner\\" and \\"user\\" topics as well as \\"advanced\\" topics focusing on the \\"developer\\" level. We try to specify the pre-knowledge of each workshop as clear as possible. Workshop PC's will be provided for these workshops. Of course you are welcome to bring your own computer.With this conference we would like to create a \\"meeting place\\" for the community to discuss the usage and the development with and of ImageJ. We are open to every idea for the conference. The format of the conference is not fixed\, it can be modeled by the ImageJ Community. Just drop us a message.
